WCNS 70th Anniversary Banquet
On Friday June 10, 2016, the Worcester County Numismatic Society had its 70th Anniversary Banquet. Over 80 people attended this big event,
including the Hon. Joseph M. Petty, Mayor of Worcester, Rep. Dan Donahue from the 16th DIstrict, and presidents from numerous other New England coin clubs.
The club received a Citation from Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, and Rep. Donahue presented the club with a proclamation from the Massachusetts House of
Representatiives that June 10th was WCNS Day in Massachusetts. Mayor Petty presented the club with the Key to the City of Worcester.
